Join us for an interactive walk. G: RASS (Gda\u0144sk: real and simulated spaces) – is an interactive art project based on a specially designed mobile application using the Android platform. Thanks to it the viewer, using his\/her tablet or smartphone, is transferred into a virtual world – an augmented reality. This approach involves and transforms the surrounding city space in order to view it from a different perspective.<\/p>\n

In connection with the anniversary of Günter Grass’s 90th birthday, a bilingual publication in Polish and German will be published. It will comprise the recollections and reflections concerning the reception of the art and activities of Günter Grass. In the course of micro-stories about meeting with the artist and his oeuvre various authors will present memories of “their own Grass”.<\/p>\n

Günter „Baby” Sommer – is an acknowledged jazz percussionist, a good friend of Günter Grass. They used to play concerts together, combining literary and musical experience.  The latest project of „Baby” Sommer is based on Grass’s „Grimms Wörter” and performer jointly with Nora Gomringer.<\/p>\n

Multimedia projections of the walls and inside the former Orphanage by Sieroca street will be based on animated drawings and graphics of two outstanding citizens of Gda\u0144sk – Daniel Chodowiecki and Günter Grass. The impressing show will be promoting the oeuvre of the two artists in the venue soon to become a new culture institution in Gda\u0144sk – Daniel Chodowiecki and Günter Grass House. The projections will enliven the old and abandoned buildings in Sieroca, anticipating the future activities connected with the new cultural and creative centre. <\/p>\n
